Jeffrey Dryden, age 49, passed away on June 13th, 2018.
A native of Jacksonville, Jeffrey earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of North Florida. Jeffrey spent the majority of his professional career contributing to the education of high school students in Duval County Public Schools, whether as a science teacher, assistant principal, or in other roles for the school system.
Jeffrey fell in love with fishing at an early age, and that passion never waned. He was happiest when he was on the water. Family and friends know that he also spent years perfecting his golf swing. In addition, he was an avid reader and music fan.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Beth Oberlander, daughter Dalia, parents Earl and Patricia, brothers David (Tina) and Michael (Kristy), and his nieces and nephew.
A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19th at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville, Fl.
